PreCal-IQ uses AI to read specs, generate takeoffs, and analyze vendor quotes. Each operation consumes credits based on document size and complexity. Monthly credits reset each billing cycle; purchased credit packs never expire.

How billing works
- Billing
- Monthly or annual. Annual billing saves ~17% (two months free).
- Payment
- All major credit cards via Stripe. ACH and wire available for Business and Enterprise.
- Free trial
- Available on request — a Professional-tier trial so you can evaluate the platform on your own projects. Request one before subscribing.
- Cancellation
- Cancel any time. Service continues through the end of the current billing period.
- Plan changes
- Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades apply at the next billing cycle.

Is there a free trial?
Yes. Request a free trial and we will set you up with a Professional-tier trial, usually within one business day — no credit card required up front.
How long until my team is productive?
Fast. Most teams generate their first takeoff within about 15 minutes of signing up, with no training required — you upload a spec and plan set and the AI does the rest.
How accurate are the AI takeoffs?
PreCal-IQ produces a detailed takeoff as a starting point, with dedicated AI prompts tuned for each of the 45 CSI categories. Every quantity is visible, editable, and traceable to its source, and the system flags ambiguous specs — so you review and approve, never guess.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes. Plans are billed monthly. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime — there is no long-term contract.
What if I exceed my plan’s project volume?
You can add credit packs or move up a tier at any time. We will help you right-size your plan so a live bid is never blocked by a limit.
Is my data secure?
Your specs, plans, and pricing stay yours. We do not use your documents or data to train AI models, and an NDA is available on request.
Do you integrate with Procore?
A Procore integration is coming soon. Today you can export every takeoff and bid to Excel and PDF — tell us what you use and we will keep you posted as integrations ship.
