How much flooring waste should I add?
Add 10% for standard straight-lay installs, and 15–20% for diagonal patterns, lots of cuts, or irregular rooms.
How many boxes of flooring do I need?
Divide the room area plus waste by the coverage printed on the box (often 18–24 sq ft) and round up.
